The Amsterdam Explorer Pass is a sightseeing pass, meaning the purpose of the pass is to help you save money on your trip without losing flexibility. With the Amsterdam Explorer Pass, you have 60 days to visit the attractions in Amsterdam, and these 60 days only start from the first day of use. This means you can (and should) buy in advance and guarantee all the tickets you need for your trip on one card.
The main advantage of the Amsterdam Explorer Pass is that it is the only attraction-based option in town. This means you decide how many attractions (3, 4, 5, 6, or 7) you want to include in your Amsterdam Explorer Pass.
How the Amsterdam Explorer Pass Works
- You buy the Amsterdam Explorer Pass online (it is unavailable for physical purchase).
- After purchasing, you will receive your Amsterdam Explorer Pass-number by email.
- Download the Go City Amsterdam Explorer Pass app.
- Open the confirmation email from your phone and click “synchronize.”
- Done! Your Amsterdam Explorer Pass is in your smartphone, and you just need to show the QR code at the entrance of the attractions.
Please note: Synchronizing your Amsterdam Explorer Pass on your smartphone does not activate the pass. It is only activated when you use it in the city.
Using Your Amsterdam Explorer Pass on Your Trip
